I read all of these on my Kindle so I don’t know how much they are in print form. I’ve also put the most recent price on, but they do change quickly sometimes!

1. Girl 4 by Will Carver (Thriller): £3.43 - The first thriller book I’ve ever read and it’s brilliantly written. Written with each chapter as the point of view of each character, this is a story of a British detective vs an elaborate murderer who plans each killing in extraordinary detail.

“Three women from three different London suburbs, each murdered with elaborate and chilling precision. And as January stares at the latest body, the most beautiful corpse he’s ever seen, he detects the killer’s hallmark. If he wants to save his own neck and prevent there being a Girl 5, January must get inside the mind of a serial killer and beat him at his own game…”

2. Every Last One by Anna Quindlen (Family drama/Mystery): £3.79 - This is a light slow going read, perfect for the summer, but with a shocking event in the middle of the book, making it a brilliant, can’t put down book.

“The Lathams seem to have it all: health, wealth and a vibrant family life. As Mary Beth Latham contemplates a life built around home, friends and community, she has every reason to feel fulfilled and content. Only to find that the comfortable life she has spent years carefully constructing is shattered in a single moment. Forced to confront her own demons, Mary Beth realises how the inconsequential moments we all share - and one shameful act she has hidden from everybody - may have contributed to her fate.”

3. Still Missing by Chevy Stevens (Mystery): £3.99 -  I read this book in less than 2 days of nonstop reading because I HAD to know what would happen next. The book is written in therapy sessions rather than chapters and is Annie’s voice telling the horrific story of how she was kiddnapped for over year. Another book with a gobsmacking twist, that won’t leave your mind!

4. The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy series by Douglas Adams (Sci-Fi Comedy): Under £5 per book - These are the most hilarious books I’ve ever read, and I am definately now a great hitchhiker’s fan! The story follows Arthur Dent, a human who is quickly saved from the destruction of the Earth by his alien friend (who he thought was human) Ford Prefect, and then taken on the adventure of his life travelling through hyperspace and visiting different planets. Absolutely brilliant characters who you will fall in love with.

“It’s an ordinary Thursday lunchtime for Arthur Dent until his house gets demolished. The Earth follows shortly afterwards to make way for a new hyperspace bypass and his best friend has just announced that he’s an alien. At this moment, they’re hurtling through space with nothing but their towels and an innocuous-looking book inscribed with the big, friendly words: DON’T PANIC.”

The next few books I haven’t read completely yet, but have read the first few chapters in samples and they are my next to read.

1. The Declaration by Gemma Malley (Futuristic fiction): £2 - “Anna Covey is a ‘Surplus’. She should not have been born. In a society in which ageing is no longer feared, and death is no longer an inevitability, children are an abomination. Like all Surpluses, Anna is living in a Surplus Hall and learning how to make amends for the selfish act her parents committed in having her. She is quietly accepting of her fate until, one day, a new inmate arrives. Anna’s life is thrown into chaos. But is she brave enough to believe this mysterious boy?A tense and utterly compelling story about a society behind a wall, and the way in which two young people seize the chance to break free.”

2. Tell Me Everything by Sarah Salway (Women’s fiction): £2.99 - “When a chance meeting with a stranger leads to an offer of a room in exchange for telling her stories, Molly jumps at the chance.Slowly she builds a new, eccentric family around herself: Tim, her secretive boyfriend, who just might be a spy; Miranda, the lovelorn hairstylist; Liz, the lusty librarian; Mr. Roberts, landlord and listener; and his French wife, Mrs. Roberts.Much to Molly’s surprise, she finds the stories she tells now are her key to creating a completely different life. Suddenly, her future is full of endless possibilities. The trouble is, Molly’s not the only one telling tales. And the truth is always stranger than fiction.”

1. My Kindle, because he is my most prized possession. Nothing makes me happier than relaxing with a good book, and if I had never got a Kindle I would never read as many amazing books as I have this year, just because I hate bookshops and libraries, as well as the fact amazon recommends some great books!

2. Makeup, NOT because I won’t go out without any on, or because I think I’m ugly without it, but because it is my hobby, my passion and part of my future career! I love trying new makeup, spend most of my time reading beauty blogs and looking of for new stuff to buy..which my bank account hates by the way!

3. Merlin (my dog) because he is just wonderful. He does the funniest things and always makes me smile, even when he’s naughty (can’t resist his puppy dog eyes!).

4. The Other Half because he is my best friend and my rock. He’s always there for me no matter what and I would actually feel completely lost if he wasn’t there for me to talk to.

5. Nature because I couldn’t imagine living somewhere that has no trees or flowers. I love walking through woodlands and finding new beautiful places, and the main reason I want to travel to different countries is to see the landscape, not to get a tan or whatever else normal tourists do!
